Delete branch "chore/gitignore-claude"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Claude Code keeps local state in .claude/, including git worktrees -- a
second checkout of this module living inside the repo tree. Untracked but
committable is the wrong state for it: nothing stops it being swept into a
commit, and CI's gofmt -l . would then fail on a checkout of files that were
never meant to ship.
Ignoring it only keeps it out of commits. Tools that walk the filesystem
rather than the index -- gofmt -l ., repo-wide seds -- still reach it, so a
local gofmt -l . will keep reporting those files. That is a separate problem
and this does not pretend to solve it.
