chore: rename default branch master -> main in code references #37

Delete branch "chore/rename-default-branch-to-main"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Update all in-repo references ahead of renaming the default branch on the
Forgejo server: workflow push triggers (ci, ci-next-go, e2e, publish), the
publish job's clone/push of the default branch, and the Makefile branch guard
(MAIN_BRANCH). CHANGELOG.md is unaffected (it references tags, not the branch).
The server-side branch rename is a separate manual step.
